      Confirmed: Jerslev parish FHL film #49,061 p.191 #4.
      The christening list his parents as Mads Stephensen and Kirsten
      Nielsdatter. His confirmation list his mother as Kirsten
      Jacobsdatter. This information must be incorrect, since this is the
      only Mads Stephensen having children in Jerslev during that time
      period. So I assume Kirsten Nielsdatter is his mother's name.

      Niels Madsen moved to Tolstrup between 1830-32 since he was still in
      Jerslev in 1830.

      (2) Jerslev parish FHL film #49,062 p.291. Niels was 32 and from
      Dronninglund.

      Between 1832 and 1833 they moved to Dronniglund parish. The register
      in Dronninglund listed people who moved into the parish in 1833, only
      list Niels and his wife. Marie (1st child) died 29 Sep 1834 in Dronninglund.
